We Support Conservation
As Professional Hunters, we promote and directly fund worthy conservation projects.
In a civilized and cultivated country wild animals only continue to exist at all when preserved by sportsmen. The excellent people who protest against all hunting, and consider sportsmen as enemies of wild life, are ignorant of the fact that in reality the genuine sportsman is by all odds the most important factor in keeping the larger and more valuable wild creatures from total extermination.

Umdende Safaris supports important projects and organisations invested in Conservation and Education.
We all have to ensure that nature will be around for future generations to enjoy and also to recognize the importance of wildlife and wilderness for humans and other species alike.
The conflict between hunters and anti-hunters is a huge threat to our wildlife and industry.
It is proven in many countries that the impact hunting has on sustaining wildlife is highly beneficial to all involved, most importantly the long-term survival and balance of all species.
How Umdende Safaris Helps Conservation
Umdende Safaris is actively involved in educating communities wherever we hunt. Over the years we have built mutually beneficial relationships with landowners and those living in close proximity to our hunting concessions. We are also proud to say that every piece of protein hunted is shared between the hunters and locals, and in turn this ensures sustainable use of our resources for generations to come….

How Can You Help
Conservation can be done in many ways, from donating funds to legitimate Organisations that focus on anti-poaching, wildlife education and community upliftment, to giving the local communities within the hunting areas meat from your hunts. In this way the need to poach and feed families is curbed while at the same time being educated on the importance of sustaining wildlife and habitats for the long term.
